Onesimus Ikungo is originally from Uganda. He graduated in 2005 from Agule Senior Secondary School. He moved to the USA in 2006 on a soccer scholarship to the University of Mobile in Alabama. He is a starter with the University of Mobile Men's Soccer Team.
In December 2008 Onesimus and Soccer4life would be travelling to Uganda on a mission trip. Our purpose and goals in Uganda are to visit the village of Pallisa, Kasodo sub-county, and Olok. We will share the love of Jesus Christ, educate villagers on HIV/AIDS through:
- Soccer games
- Conferences
- Street Evangelism, and
- Door-to-door HIV/AIDS awareness campaign meetings
Onesimus will have a traveling team of pastors, gospel musicians, a soccer team, and an HIV/AIDS team.
